THE POKER PREMIER LEAGUE

The Poker Premier League is played over seven rounds between January and July. Each player hosts one round, and the order of venues for the seven rounds is drawn randomly at the beginning of the season.

The seven players and the seven venues are as follows: Botting C (Swiss Cottage), Botting S (Old Town), Byrne (The Hangover), de Wirtz (The Square), Godfrey (Fiennes Den), Levett (Hunters Rise), Stanley (Stanley Park).

Players start with 4,500 chips. The blinds go up every 15 minutes and cap at 700/1400.

The points system for the League is:
1 - 9pts, 2 - 6pts, 3 - 4pts, 4 - 3pts, 5 - 2pts, 6 - 1pt.

The home player receives bonus points if they finish in the top three:
3 bonus pts for first place; 2 bonus pts for second place; 1 bonus pt for third place.


The entrance fee is £60. The winner of each Round gets £10 on the night.
The Prize money breakdown is as follows:

Winner:
£175

Runner-up:
£90

Third Place:
£50

Fourth Place:
£25

The £10 surplus will go toward the purchasing of the League Trophy.
