Charlie de Wirtz retained the Trophy last week to claim the first silverware of the season but insisted it would have no bearing on the outcome of the second round of the Poker Premier League next month at Old Town.
The win over Brett Levett was de Wirtz's fourth straight heads-up appearance in the Trophy and his third triumph.
